Help and Moderator Team Vacancies / New Post Ranks and User Titles

So the community is growing and we feel the team of people helping keep it intact needs to follow. So today we are opening applications for some old, and new ranks.

The new forum ranks are as follows;

Forum Moderator - Forum Moderators are forum exclusive moderators, they will be in charge of all of the Boards on the Battlescape forum. Keeping them clean, stop rule breakers ect. These will have no in-game duties and thus will be able to play the game in peace.

Moderator - These are game specific moderators, these will be able to aid you in-game if you cannot get onto your account, move your account if you are stuck and will be dealing with your player reports and keeping the game free of rule breakers. This is not who you should go to when you have questions, these are just players who are offering up their time to make the game a better place and do not need you bugging them.

Senior Moderator - Senior Moderators will be in charge of Forum and Player Moderators and will also have the jobs of both positions. These will be mentors to the lower ranked moderators and are the 'top mods'. These guys know what they're doing.

We have opened a new section on the forum where we will list our vacancies and if you are interested you can apply to fill our empty position(s). As of right now we are looking to fill a lot of Player Moderator and Forum Moderator positions(For the first time here at Battlescape in almost 3 years!) while also recruiting some new members to the player help team.

Before you can view the vacancies section and make an application you need to meet the following standards;

• You need at least 100 posts.
• You need to have been registered for 30 days.

If you think you are interested and meet the above standards, I will try to help you decide which would suit you best.

"I am looking to help people, I wanna give them advice and show them around. I want to teach people how to play and help players out with any questions they may have."
- Player Helper is the position you are looking for.

"I enjoy playing the game but really I have always been more of a forum person. I love posting on the forum but it sometimes annoys me that people get away with so much and that the forum is so messy. I wanna help fix this!"
- Forum Moderator is the position you are looking for.

"I am an avid Battlescape player, I don't use the forum much but would still like to help make Battlescape a better place. It sometimes annoys me when I see people who are stuck on the bridge north of home or when I hear stories about people who can't log into their account and there is nobody online to help them. I want to help those people and stop people from breaking the rules and ruining the game for other people."
- Player Moderator is the position you are looking for.

Please fill out applications truthfully and please note that we will be making our decisions based on your past posts, actions, offences and your application. So please keep this in mind if you are not chosen.

New Post Ranks and User Titles

Not that big of an announcement but I though I would make it known!

Now everytime you reach a certain post count you will recieve a new user title and occasionally a new post rank.(The rares underneath your name in posts.)

The user titles/post ranks and the posts you recieve them at are listed below.

• Bronze Minotaur: 100
• Iron Minotaur: 250
• Spirit Terrorbird: 500
• Steel Minotaur: 750
• Mithril Minotaur: 1000
• War Tortoise: 1500
• Adamant Minotaur: 2000
• Rune Minotaur: 2500
• Iron Titan: 3000
• Pack Yak: 4000
• Steel Titan: 5000
